Learning Philosophy

Teaching had become an innate part of my character long before I learned about Bloom's Taxonomy or the academic principles of Instructional Design.  My ability to learn and to teach happened at an early age.  As the years seemed to drag on and then accelerate, what I had learned by instinct and observation became a passion.

My philosophy on the subject of corporate education is:

• Respect the individual
• Analyze the corporate culture
• Establish our roles and goals
• Find ways to obtain buy-in
• Present the content as an interactive adventure
• Establish levels of mastery and assess regularly
